Introduction

Can you provide a brief overview of your entrepreneurial journey and the business you're currently involved in?

I am a London-based Model, Influencer, and Content Creator. I am also in the process of launching my own eco-friendly and vegan swimwear brand, PersianaSwim which I have been working hard on behind the scenes for many months. 

How do you define success, and how has your daily routine contributed to your achievements?

Success to me is achieving goals, no matter how little, small, Impossible, or ordinary they seem. Success is the product of determination which many can easily confuse with motivation. I like to consider myself very determined because I will still get the job done, even if I am not motivated and that is the biggest contribution to my success. One of the components of my daily routine that helps me the most is starting out my day by planning what I need to do and prioritizing it in terms of what needs to be done primarily or according to a specific timeframe. 

Morning Routine

What time do you usually wake up, and how do you start your day?

I usually wake up at 7 o'clock but am not too strict with my wake-up or sleep times, instead, I try to prioritize 8 or more hours of sleep (I need a lot) and go to bed before 11 so that I can get a high-quality rest. I usually start my day with kombucha from Equinox kombucha to get my digestive health on track for the day, and then I usually have porridge or protein shake before planning my day and how I am going to utilize my time. 

Do you follow any specific morning rituals or exercises to set a positive tone for the day?

I prefer to work out in the morning because it sets a great tone for my day and I feel like I am able to achieve something early on. I swap between weightlifting, Pilates, yoga, and barre. Recently I have been trying to make use of the daylight hours by fitting in a small morning walk. I also have a lengthy skincare routine, preferring to use organic products such as Kora Organics skincare and a fluoride-free toothpaste by Ecodenta, this combination makes me feel really fresh. 

Planning and Prioritization

How do you plan and organize your tasks for the day? Do you use any specific tools or apps for task management?

I like to use a notebook or daily planner to organize myself. I think writing down is the best method but also use my phone notes when I am on the go. I always record appointments in my calendar app.

Could you share your approach to prioritizing tasks and making to-do lists?

My main approach is to record something as soon as it comes into my head so that I don’t forget it. I also like to use my five-minute journal when I have extra time to really understand my personal goals and growth. 

Workspace and Environment

Can you describe your workspace setup? What elements are crucial for your productivity?

I work from home as well as coffee shops and libraries because I am a firm believer that the environment can make or break productivity. I always like to stay hydrated whilst I am working. I will either have coconut water from Rebel Kitchen or use mini dew by moon juice for an electrolyte cocktail. I’m very into my wellness and creating good habits for my mind and body.

Are there any specific tools, gadgets, or software you use to optimize your work environment?

In the winter I like to use a humidifier around my work space because the air can really dry out skin.

Time Management

How do you manage your time throughout the day? Are there any techniques you follow, such as time blocking or the Pomodoro technique?

I manage my time by prioritizing my tasks and starting with the tasks that will take the longest first.

Do you delegate tasks or outsource certain activities to focus on high-value tasks?

I try to plan out my social activities for evenings which is when I am more tired and unwilling to focus on work, and because I prefer to work out in the mornings. That means I am not wasting my evening time because I would not be working anyway.

Communication and Networking

How do you handle emails and communication during the workday?

I constantly monitor my emails throughout the day because as a content creator, brands require lots of communication and fast responses. I also like to schedule my emails in the evening, so that they are sent in the morning and will be one of the first emails in someone’s inbox. This method shows I am organized and reliable to work with.

Are there any particular tools or platforms you use to stay connected with your team and professional network?

I do use telegram to connect with my virtual assistant, who helps me plan and schedule my content creation as well as helping to engage with my audience.

Health and Well-being

What role does physical exercise play in your daily routine? How do you incorporate it into your busy schedule?

Physical exercise is so important to me and I work out a minimum of 5 days a week. This is what has helped my mental health and strength. I try and be active every day, even if it’s just something small. I do not overexert myself and do low-impact workouts when I am more tired than usual. I think it’s important to listen to your body.

How do you ensure you're maintaining a healthy diet and staying hydrated during the day?

I eat a predominantly plant-based diet. I am a dairy-free pescatarian but most of my meals are plants. This is what works for my body and I still prioritize high protein which I get from legumes and beans. I do believe in eating the rainbow and try to have green juice a few times a week. Each evening, I have herbal tea to help me wind down and support my hormones. Right now I’m drinking herbaly pressure balance blend. Furthermore, I don’t drink coffee, fizzy drinks, and ultra-processed foods regularly. I try to view my diet as my fuel and eat accordingly.

Are there any supplements or medicines you include in your daily routine to support your overall well-being? If so, could you share some details about them?

I take a collagen Zooki every day and this has helped my hair and nail growth tremendously. I also take a probiotic daily as well as Holland and barrels turmeric and black pepper supplements to reduce inflammation. If I get bloated, I take Arrae’s bloat supplement, it’s full of herbs and is gentle.

Learning and Growth

Do you dedicate time to continuous learning or self-improvement? If so, how do you go about it?

I like to believe that as humans, we are constantly evolving. I grow by learning through non-fiction and self-help books, as well as the content I consume online. Recently I have been dedicating time to learning sewing and perfecting my pottery skills. It’s one of my favorite ways to destress. Over the next few months, I will be dedicating more time to meditation. 

Are there any specific books, podcasts, or resources you find particularly valuable?

I listen to the Rise and Conquer podcast for self-help as well as the Skinny Confidential for professional skincare and wellness tips. I am reading Sanaya Roman’s Soul Love book at the moment.

Creative and Strategic Thinking

How do you nurture your creativity and approach strategic thinking in your routine?

I split my goals into small achievable steps to avoid overwhelming myself.

Are there any practices you follow to overcome creative blocks or decision-making challenges?

I prefer to be in nature when I feel blocked or stressed. A small walk or a sit in the park is so simple but it can be so helpful.

Evening Routine

How do you wind down and wrap up your workday?

I try to achieve my daily tasks and assignments before dinner so that I can have a stress-free evening.

Are there any habits or practices you follow to ensure a restful night's sleep?

I always try and have herbal tea to help me wind down as well as putting down my phone and laptop at least an hour before bed to avoid blue light affecting my sleep.

Advice and Insights

What's one piece of advice you'd give to someone striving for success in the entrepreneurial world?

To never give up and to never believe that you are unworthy of achieving anything you want to achieve. At the end of the day, the only person that needs to believe in you is you.

Is there a specific routine or practice you wish you had started earlier in your career?

Planning. Planning helps to organize my brain and reduce my stress. To fail to plan is to plan to fail.
